The short version. bricktab is free. Use it fairly, do not try to break it, and remember that the stories, sets and deals it points to belong to other people. We do our best, and we cannot promise it will always be perfect.
About these terms
These terms apply to the bricktab browser extension, the service behind it and the website at bricktab.news, together called "bricktab". bricktab is a project by the team behind brick.news, and you can reach us at hello@brick.news.
By installing the extension or using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please remove the extension and stop using the site.
What bricktab is
bricktab replaces your browser's new tab page with a feed of brick news collected from the public feeds of third-party publishers, together with hand-picked deals, a calendar of community events and some optional helpers for LEGO.com. It is provided free of charge, and no account is needed.

bricktab is an independent fan project. LEGO®, the LEGO logo, the minifigure and the brick and knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse bricktab. BrickLink is a trademark of its owner. Every other name and logo belongs to its respective owner and is used only to identify the source, shop or product concerned.
Your use of bricktab
You may use bricktab for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- interfere with the service, overload it, or get around its rate limits;
- manipulate votes or statistics, including by automated means or by repeatedly resetting your anonymous ID;
- scrape, resell or republish the feed, the deals or the calendar;
- reverse engineer the extension in order to build a competing service, except where the law gives you that right;
- send anything unlawful, abusive or misleading through the feedback, suggestion or contact forms.
We may limit or block access that breaks these rules.
Content from other people
Headlines, excerpts and images in the feed come from the publishers named on each card. They remain the property of those publishers, and every card links to the original article. We do not write, check or endorse that content, and an opinion in a story is the author's and not ours.
If you own content that appears in bricktab and want it changed or removed, write to us and we will act promptly.
Deals, prices and events
Deals, prices, promo codes, stock levels and event details are provided for information and can change or end without notice. Always check the final price and conditions with the shop, and the date and place with the organizer. A purchase is a contract between you and the shop. bricktab is not a party to it and is not responsible for orders, delivery, returns or warranties.
BrickLink prices shown by the optional helper come from BrickLink stores, not from LEGO, and the Insiders points value is an estimate.

Feedback you send us
If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them to improve bricktab without any obligation to you. Please do not send anything confidential.
Our content
The bricktab name, mark, design, code and original text belong to us. These terms do not give you any right to use them, other than to use bricktab as intended.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of bricktab at any time. Browser makers may also change how extensions work, which is outside our control. We will try to give notice of significant changes where we can.
Disclaimer
bricktab is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error free, accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data or profit, or for anything arising from third-party content, sites, shops or events that bricktab links to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or removes rights you have as a consumer.
Privacy
How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the country where the operator of bricktab is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and continuing to use bricktab after a change means you accept it. Questions are welcome at hello@brick.news.
